Meritorious Service Medal 'Since the inception of the Battalion in March 1916, this N.C.O. has done excellent work in connection with the Supply services - first as Storeman, and later relieving the Regimental Quarter-master Sergeant. Since May 1917, he has been continuously carrying out the duties of Regimental Quarter-master Sergeant with marked ability and devotion to duty.'
