Admitted to 9th Australian Field Ambulance, 11 September 1918 (dysentery), and transferred to 41st Casualty Clearing Station; to 24th Stationary Hospital, Rouen, 23 September 1918; to England, 29 September 1918, and admitted to Reading War Hospital, 30 September 1918; to No 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 12 November 1918; discharged on furlough, 14 November 1918, to report to No 1 Command Depot, Sutton Veny, 28 November 1918.

Admitted to Grove Hill Military Hospital, Tooting, 30 November 1918 (dysentery); transferred to No 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 14 December 1918; discharged to No 4 Command Depot, Hurdcott, 17 December 1918.
