Embarked from Sydney, 17 July 1918; disembarked London, England, 27 September 1918. Marched into 5th Training Bn, Fovant, 27 September 1918, and allotted to Reinforcements of 18th Bn.

Found guilty of being absent without leave, midnight, 13 November-2130, 14 November 1918: awarded 5 days confined to camp and forfeiture of 8 days' pay.

Proceeded overseas to France, 22 January 1919; taken on strength, 18th Bn, 29 January 1919.

Marched out for return to Australia, 18 May 1919; disembarked Southampton, 27 May 1919, and marched into No. 2 Group, Sutton Veny, Wiltshire. Found guilty of being absent without leave, 2359, 15 June-2130, 17 June 1919: awarded 6 days' Field Punishment No. 2 and forfeiture of 9 days' pay.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Ulysses',22 July 1919; disembarked Sydney, 5 September 1919; discharged, 20 September 1919.
