Military Medal 'This N.C.O. is Signal Sergeant. During the August operations near WARFUSEE-ABANCOURT and FRAMERVILLE, East of AMIENS, this N.C.O. went forward to supervise the maintenance of communications with companies and it was owing to his untiring efforts that valuable information from the forward positions was received. Throughout the whole operations he showed courage, initiative and devotion to duty. Since February 1918, he has ben in all operations in which his battalion has taken part, and has always carried out his duties in a conscientious and most satisfactory manner.'
