Military Medal

'During the operations against WARFUSEE east of AMIENS, on the 8th August 1918 Lance Corporal TAYLOR became detached from his platoon in the fog, he observed an enemy machine gun causing casualties to a flank battalion. Without hesitation he rushed it alone, captured the gun and killed or wounded the crew of six.'
