Military Medal 'For conspicuous bravery and devotion to duty near HARGICOURT on 18th September, 1918. Lance Corporal BRADFORD with his platoon Sergeant and one man rushed an enemy machine gun nest under heavy machine gun fire and helped considerably in the capture of 4 machine guns and 45 prisoners. He set a splendid example of determination and coolness to his comrades.'
