Military Medal 'For meritorious service and devotion to duty. On the 29th September 1918, during the attack on Bellicourt it was mainly owing to the splendid example set by Sergeant BRAGG that his platoon Commander was able to complete the work allotted. Again, on the night of the 1st/2nd October, he rendered valuable assistance in mopping up the St. Quentin Canal Tunnel and establishing Machine Gun posts there. His conduct at all times has been worthy of mention.'
