Military Medal 'During the operations of August 30th 1918 near CLERY-sur-SOMME. Private TYLER did splendid work as Company runner. Under heavy fire he carried despatches to and from Battalion Headquarters day and night and was untiring in his devotion to duty. He set a fine example to all his comrades.'
