On two separate occasions Sergeant WARNER rushed the enemy machine gun positions, and was successful in killing and wounding the crews and putting the guns out of action, thus enabling his Company to continue their advance. These two splendid actions of his assisted materially in the defence of his Company and set a magnificent example of bravery and devotion to duty.'
