'For devotion to duty and continuous good work. During the months of April and May when this Unit was running the Main Dressing Station at QUERRIEU, he successfully and with great credit organised and administered the nursing department. He has on several occasions since been in charge of Nursing Sections at Main Dressing Stations and Main Dressing Stations and by his care and thoroughness he has contributed greatly to the comfort and well being of the patients. For the past two years his work has been characterised by zeal and thoroughness.'
