Military Medal 'For devotion to duty and gallantry at BONY on 29th - 30th September 1918. He supervised the forward evacuation of the Ambulance Cars, and greatly contributed to the rapid clearance of the forward Ambulance Posts. He has been conspicuous for his gallant conduct and devotion to duty during the operations at VILLERS BRETONNEUX in May and June 1918, and in the advance to the Hindenberg Line in September 1918.'
