Admitted to Australian Overseas Base, Mustapha, Alexandria, 16 July 1915.

Admitted to Military Hospital, Tigne, 28 September 1915 (gun shot wound, right knee); transferred to Convalescent Camp, Spinola, 18 October 1915; embarked for Egypt, 7 December 1915; disembarked Alexandria, 13 December 1915; rejoined 7th Bn, Tel el Kebir, 19 January 1916.
