War service: Middle East Proceeded from Alexandria to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force at Gallipoli, 16 May 1915. Taken sick at Gallipoli, 12 December 1915 (pleurisy); evacuated on board HT 'Oxfordshire', and admitted to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 15 December 1915; rejoined unit, Maadi, 29 December 1915.
