Admitted to 15th Field Ambulance, Tel el Kebir, 15 March 1916 (influenza); transferred to No 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, 24 March 1916; to Hospital Train No 4, 25 March 1916 (vaccine treatment), and admitted to 3rd Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 25 March 1916; discharged to Zeitoun, 12 April 1916 (sycosis cerba); proceeded to rejoin unit, 19 April 1916.

Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 17 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 23 June 1916.

Identification disc received from Germany (German Death List, 4 November 1916). No particulars were afforded except that soldier is deceased. To be reported as KILLED IN ACTION 19/7/16.
