Embarked Sydney, 31 October 1917; disembarked Devonport, England, 26 December 1917.

Proceeded overseas to France, 15 September 1918; marched in to Australian General Base Depot, Rouen, 18 September 1918; taken on strength, 14th Company, Australian Army Service Corps, in the field, 4 October 1918, and appointed Driver.

Attached to 26th Company, AASC, 13 October 1918.

Admitted to 12th Australian Field Ambulance, 29 October 1918 (influenza); transferred to 41st Stationary Hospital, 1 November 1918; to Ambulance Train No 32, 1 November 1918, and admitted to 9th General Hospital, Rouen, 2 November 1918.

Condition rated as 'seriously ill', 5 November 1918.

Died of disease (broncho-pneumonia), 11 November 1918.
