Military Medal 'For gallantry and devotion to duty during the attack near VILLERET on 18th September, 1918, Private BRYANT showed an utter disregard of danger; and his courage and coolness whilst carrying wounded from a sunken road which was being heavily shelled, across very bad ground covered with barbed wire entanglements, was a splendid example to those who saw him.'
