Found guilty, Cape Town, 30 October 1917, of (1) being absent at time of sailing 'Suevic', 9 am, 27 October 1917, until reporting 9am, 29 October 1917: severely reprimanded.

Embarked Cape Town on board HT 'Llanstephan Castle' for return to Australia, 9 November 1917; discharged (medically unfit), Sydney, 25 December 1917.
