Admitted to No 2 Australian General Hospital, Ghezireh, 12 February 1916 (haemorrhoids); transferred to No 3 Australian General Hospital, Ghezireh, 25 February 1916; returned to duty, 12 March 1916.

Admitted to No 3 Australian General Hospital, 20 March 1916 (haemorrhoids, fractured rib); left hospital without being discharged.

Commenced return to Australia from Suez on board 'Seang Bee', 29 April 1916; discharged, 8 June 1916.
