Military Medal 'At NOREUIL during the operations of 3rd and 4th May these two men [1735 G. McMAHON and 1502 S. AMOROUS] did excellent work as runners. They were continually carrying messages through the shelled areas and never hesitated although the fire at times reached barrage intensity. They showed steadfast devotions to duty under most difficult and dangerous circumstances. On the third May they operated between O.G.1 and NOREUIL in daylight.'
