Accidentally wounded (self inflicted), Romani, 10 August 1916 (gun shot wound, right foot); admitted to 13th General Hospital, Port Said, 13 August 1916; transferred to 3rd Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 28 August 1916; to Convalescent Hospital, Montazah, 18 September 1916. Court of Enquiry, 26 September 1916, 'is of opinion that Pte. Burzacott's wound was accidentally received through no carelessness on his part.'
