Proceeded to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, Gallipoli, 16 August 1915.

To hospital ill, Gallipoli Peninsula, 11 September 1915; admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 12 September 1915. Transferred to HS 'Nevaska', 13 September 1915 (dysentry); admitted to No 3 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 19 September 1915; transferred to 4th Auxiliary Hospital, Abbassia, 29 September 1915; to Anzac Convalescent Camp, Helouan, 13 October 1915; discharged to duty, 10 December 1915; rejoined unit, Tel-el-Kebir, 10 January 1916.

Embarked Alexandria and proceeded to join the British Expeditionary Force, 18 March 1916; disembarked Marseilles, 25 March 1916.
