How[itzer]s. Two men and five horses were killed and several men and horses wounded. Bombardier CALLANAN showed most conspicuous gallantry in assisting 2/Lieut. HARRIS in straightening out the congestion. He disentangled teams several of which had go caught in the wire, rid themselves of their drivers and became unmanageable. He generally by coolness energy and splendid example assisted in restoring order. He again returned and assisted in bandaging wounded and carrying them to the Aid Post. His fearless example under heavy fire and in most trying circumstances was an inspiration to the others. bombardier CALLANAN's conduct on several previous occasions has been equally cool and courageous.'
