Military Medal 'Who was a Company runner during the period 5th August, 1916, until 8th August, 1916, at POZIERES. He continuously carried messages and at times had to pass through heavy shell fire. There was no communication trench and he had to travel across open country, yet he succeeded in delivering his messages.'
