Military Medal 'During the period September 17th to December 31st, 1918, Bombardier ANDERSON has shown conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. Throughout the rapid advance this Non Commissioned Officer, on several occasions took charge of his gun, and handled the detachment with skill and marked ability at critical times. His courage and initiative were an inspiration to all around him.'
