Military Medal 'During the operations on the 26th August, 1918, east of BRAY, whilst the Company was preparing to advance to a new position it was harassed by two enemy machine guns. Corporal CHRISTENSEN went about 300 yards in advance of our position and engaged first one and then the other gun. He silenced one gun and drew the fire of the other gun on himself. This gallant act enabled the Company to assemble and to advance at the cost of very few casualties.'
