Transferred to Woodcote Park Convalescent Hospital, Epsom, 10 August 1916; to 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 14 August 1916; date of discharge from hospital not recorded.

Commenced return to Australia on board HS 'Kanowna', 9 September 1916; discharged, 2 April 1917 (medically unfit: rheumatism and nephritis).
