Attached to 4th Light Horse Bde Headquarters, El Arish, 3 April 1917.

Charged with, Tel el Fara, 14 June 1917, of while on active service, (1) being absent without leave under apprehended by Military Police at Zagazig, 10 June 1917; (2) being in possession of an improper pass; (3) neglecting to obey an general order in that he was not wearing an identity disc; found Guilty on Charge 3, and Not Guilty on Charges 1, and 2: award, cautioned and admonished.

Attached to 37th Company, Australian Divisional Train, 7 January 1918.

Taken on strength of 2nd Field Squadron, 14 February 1918, and posted to 4th Field Troop.

Evacuated to hospital, 8 October 1918; admitted to No 21 General Hospital, Alexandria, 14 October 1918 (pneumonia, dangerously ill).

Died, 17 October 1918 (pneumonia).
