War service: Egypt Embarked Adelaide on HMAT 'Port Lincoln', 22 October 1914. Report by Commanding Officer of unit reads: 'This man is extremely quarrelsome, and is now on remand for kicking a comrade and breaking his jaw. He is unreliable and give to drinking bouts, at which times he is unmanageable. At present he is absent from camp without leave', 31 January 1915. Embarked Suez on HT 'Kyarra' and commenced return to Australia, 3 February 1915; disembarked Melbourne, 11 March 1915, and discharged for disciplinary reasons. Medals: Not Eligible |
