Admitted to 9th Australian Field Ambulance, 30 December 1916 (scabies); discharged to duty, and rejoined Bn, 8 January 1917.

Attached to 9th Machine Gun Company, 13 May 1917; rejoined Bn, Belgium, from detachment, 7 June 1917.

Wounded in action, 8 June 1917 (gun shot wound, right side); admitted to 9th Australian Field Ambulance, 9 June 1917; discharged to duty, 20 June 1917, and rejoined Bn same day.

Killed in action, 15 July 1917.
