Admitted to hospital, Gallipoli, 30 November 1915 (rheumatism; medical report, 24 September 1919, states 'Was evacuated from Gallipoli in 1915 after being blown up. Patient says he has been nervous and tremlus ever since being evacuated from Gallipoli'); transferred by HS 'Glenart Castle' to Alexandria, 11 December 1915, and admitted to No. 3 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis. Rejoined unit, Maadi, Egypt, 11 January 1916. Transferred to 2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 25 January 1916. Found guilty of conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline: awarded 3 extra picquets, 31 March 1916.
