'While watching the flank of a squadron which was attacking an enemy column retiring from LUDD on the 15th November, 1917, this N.C.O. observed some enemy infantry escaping to a flank and with two men galloped two mils and intercepted and captured 20 enemy and brought them in spite of being under heavy shell fire all the time.
