Military Medal 'In the HINDENBURG LINE near BULLECOURT, FRANCE on the 6th May 1917. The enemy having driven our men down trench (O.G.1) a counter-attack was organised in old communication trench between O.G.1 and O.G.2 Sergeant ADAMS led the bombing attack and by his skill and leadership the enemy were driven back to their original position.
