Medals |
Military Medal 'At HERLEVILLE, East of AMIENS, on the morning of 18th August, 1918, during minor operations this N.C.O. in spite of heavy Machine Gun fire and bombing made a reconnaissance along an enemy Communication trench and alone bombed out the crew of a Machine Gun Post and captured the gun which was impeding the consolidation of the Company's flank. Later, with great dash he pushed out under the fire of snipers from trees and obtained valuable information of his enemy dispositions. His work was of great value.'
