Found guilty of conduct to the prejudice of good order and military discipline, 22 February 1916: awarded 10 hours' punishment drill in the afternoon. Transferred to 5th Division Artillery, taken on strength, mustered as a Gunner and posted to 58th Battery, 15 March 1916. Embarked from Alexandria with 5th Divisional Base Depot Artillery Reinforcements, 7 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 15 June 1916. Moved out to active service from 5th Divisional Base Depot, Etaples, 6 August 1916; taken on strength, 15th Field Artillery Brigade in the field, 10 August 1916.
