Military Medal 'This N.C.O. has been with the Battery throughout its operations in France, and has been noted for carrying out his duties gallantly and conscientiously. Throughout the recent Offensive he was in charge of a Sub Section and constantly at the guns at all hours. On 2 occasions during operations he performed useful work in assisting Officers in making reconnaissances notably on the 29th September, and 9th October. He is a fine example of gallant, hard-working, and well behaved N.C.O.'
