Admitted to Fargo Military Hospital, 4 February 1917; transferred to Sutton Veny Hospital, Wilts, 15 February 1917 (bronchitis); marched into 5th Training Bn from Southern Leeds Hospital, Bristol, 3 March 1917. Found guilty at Shrewton, 14 March 1917, of (1) drunkenness, and (2) disobedience to orders in being out of bounds, 29 January 1917: awarded 4 days' confinement to quarters. Proceeded to France through Southampton, 29 May 1917; marched into 2nd Australian Divisional Base Depot, Etaples, 30 May 1917.
