Meritorious Service Medal 'For great devotion to duty and good services. This N.C.O. has carried out the duties of Orderly Room Sergeant to this Brigade since January, 1917, to 19th September, 1918, and has shown marked ability and untiring energy in the performance of his duties. His work has always been reliable and conscientiously carried out. He has served continuously with the unit in EGYPT, SINAI and PALESTINE and has been present at all actions in which this Brigade has taken part.'
