Taken on strength, 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column, Heliopolis, 22 December 1915.Found guilty, 3 January 1916, of being absent without leave: forfeited 1 day's pay. Transferred to 22nd Howitzer Battery, 10 March 1916. Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 25 March 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 3 April 1916.
