Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during operations against enemy positions south of the SOMME, east of HAMEL, on 8th August, 1918. Lance Corporal JAMIESON was in charge of a Lewis gun section. On two occasions in ACCROCHE WOOD he moved forward and engaged an enemy machine gun at close range, and with his Section then rushed and captured two guns and 24 prisoners. He led his Section throughout the operations with great skill and daring.'
