Military Medal 'On morning of 30th March 1917 under heavy Howitzer bombardment of an Artillery Observation Post at VRAUCOURT, he skilfully dressed 3 badly wounded men and with assistance moved them from shelled area to Dressing Station. He displayed great coolness under fire.'
