Military Medal 'During the operations subsequent to 8th August 1918, Sergeant MACPHERSON has shown untiring energy in controlling a sub-section of machine guns. In the attack at FRAMERVILLE, near AMIENS, on 11th August 1918, he used his guns with effect in spite of enemy resistance, and carried out a reconnaissance for positions at great personal risk, locating enemy posts which he helped to capture. His work is always excellent.'
