Military Medal 'Whilst crossing the open space near LA FERME DU MOUQUET Private LEE was wounded. Though the spot was in an enemy artillery barrage and swept by machine gun fire Private McLEOD fearlessly remained to bind up his comrades wounds and then assisted him some distance to the safety of a trench. On the 3rd September, 1916.'
