Military Medal

'For consistent good service, courage, and devotion to duty. As transport Corporal he has displayed the greatest bravery when in charge of limbers and pack trains during operations. His skilful handling and total disregard of personal safety have on many occasions contributed greatly to the getting forward of supplies during heavy shelling. The work of this N.C.O. has at all times been of the highest order and a splendid example to his men.'
