Meritorious Service Medal 'This N.C.O. has always shown remarkable keenness for his work, and by his untiring efforts has done much to relieve the suffering of animals under his care and to reduce the sick wastage of animals. During the period 25th February to 17th September, 1918, he had many opportunities of doing good work under most adverse conditions. These he availed himself of to the fullest extent, thereby setting a fine example to the other A.A.V.C. Sergeants of the Division.'
