Meritorious Service Medal 'This N.C.O. is an original member of the Unit, having left Australia on 26th June, 1915. His services have been consistent and invaluable in his capacity of sectional Sergeant Clerk and as Acting Orderly Room Sergeant - the period embraces three years service in this capacity - he has been most reliable throughout and has on all occasions kept with accuracy and care, the many records in connection with the admission and discharge of wounded, as well as doing the routine clerical work of the Unit with marked ability.'
