'This Warrant Officer is the Brigade Quartermaster Sergeant and has acted in that capacity since the Brigade left Australia. he has always been most reliable and hardworking and has always given every satisfaction in carrying out his various duties. he has worked continuously with the Brigade and has been in every operation in which the Brigade has taken part. On many occasions his work has entailed personal risk and has been of a strenuous and difficult nature, but at all times he has worked extremely well and has displayed great ability and untiring energy in thoroughly carrying out any task allotted to him.
