Military Medal 'On the 8th August, 1918, during the attack on the enemy's positions east of HAMEL, Private SKUGAR, single handed, rushed and captured a machine gun and its crew. He continued to do excellent work throughout the fight until he was badly wounded. He set an excellent example of bravery and devotion to duty.'
