Meritorious Service Medal 'For general ability and devotion to duty. He has been attached to the 5th Divisional Artillery since its formation in March, 1916. During that time he has been the senior Warrant Officer of the Divisional Artillery, and has at all times rendered most meritorious service. He has set a very fine example to all the Warrant Officers of the Divisional Artillery. He also rendered valuable services as B.Q.M.S. in 1st Battery A.F.A. in GALLIPOLI.'
