Military Cross 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty while in charge oftwo Vickers guns during an attack. He pushed his guns forward into a dangerous gap between his brigade and the brigade on the left, and he rushed two machine gun nests, capturing thrity five prisoners and six machine guns.
