Admitted to No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Tel el Kebir, 30 May 1916; transferred to No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 31 May 1916. Invalided to England from Alexandria, 24 June 1916 (Otitis Media); admitted to 3rd London General Hospital, 3 July 1916. Taken on strength, 12th Training Bn, Rollestone, 19 July 1916. Proceeded overseas to France, 8 September 1916.
